Violence, no way!

Phew... just finished doing the laundry and our room looks like a clothes store going on sale hahaha...
There is this thing on my mind that I'd like to share with you. There have been several times where we heard a woman crying from the flat above us (we are on the ground floor). Lan even said that he heard the man beat that woman up, sometimes she screamed in horror... I just cannot understand why would a man beat his wife? I suppose you don't marry a girl to beat her up, right? Also you don't marry a guy just to be beaten up, am I right? We get married to love and to be loved.
Any man should know that he is supposed to protect his wife, not to beat her up! I thank God that Lan, no matter how angry he is to me, will never ever lay a hand on me.

Poor that woman upstairs... I hope the man will come to his senses!

    tapi emang ada ya orang yang suka mukulin istri/anak. kalo udah kayak gitu harusnya sih si istri ngelawan ya... atau lapor ke polisi...

    Btw, Sher, apakah sementara itu di sana tidak ada respon dari mana-mana? Maksudnya yg berasal dari luar rumah itu? Kasian korbannya aja. Kalau bisa kan, si korban masih bisa dibantu oleh pihak yg berwenang. Biarpun istilahnya "bini, bini gue," tetep dong si bini bisa nolak dgn, "emang lu siapa sewenang wenang?"

    Kalau males dianggap nyampurin urusa rumah-tangga orang, ya.. cari akal aja gimana yg penting kan korbannya diselamatkan dulu. *Duh, koq jadi I yg sibuk si?*

    Sedih banget baca ceritamu , kalau terjadi lagi bagaiamana kalau kalian nelpon polisi ( anonym )biar si suami kapok dan gak pukul2 lagi kalau dapet peringatan dr polisi ...

    biasanya org2 spt itu memang ngga menyadari wkt kalap. entah dia hang over, atau memang punya syndrome untuk bersikap abusive. kalau yg kedua, biasanya itu akibat dari pengalaman hidupnya terutama dimasa kecil......
    u have a right to call for help....karena kan merasa terganggu walaupun kita nggak punya urusan.

    ya ampun, gila tuh laki..iya bener si dian tuh, kl udah sekali nabok pasti keterusan.
    nah gua aja yg gak di gebukin gua tinggal, gmn kl gua di gebuk ya bakal gua gebuk balik sebelum gua kabur. jangan coba2 sentuh gua dgn cara kek begitu, gak terima gua.

    Kadang ada orang yang adatnya nggak bisa dicerna sama akal sehat. Laki mukulin. Perempuannya nerima (walaupun teriak), tapi nggak mencari pertolongan.
    It takes two to tango. Kalau dipukul, dan perempuannya cuma bisa teriak dan nangis tapi nggak ada aksi apa pun (polisi atau semacamnya), ya laki itu akan terus mukul.

    Duh, semoga istrinya itu punya keberanian untuk mengadu!

T uesday, 29th August 2006 has became a special day for both Lan and I. Why? Well... let me tell you the story. Around five in the afternoon, Lan rang me telling me not to cook, because he will treat me for dinner. So I just waited with no thought of what will happen afterward. Back from business!

A loha!!! I am back from busy days... I miss my blogging world so much hehehe... probably missed a lot of stories as well from you guys. Oh well... now that the exams are over , I can have a little bit relaxation for myself. For the last several weeks, I and my feelings have been up and down... There are times I am sad, stressed out, happy, leaping in joy, oh... it is a mixture of feelings. A khirnya ludes sudah kertas lipat yang dikirim mamiku dalam jangka waktu kurang dari seminggu! Sayangnya jumlahnya kurang, jadinya botolku hanya terisi separuh. *Ada yang mau nyumbang ngirim? Karena aku tahu di sini tidak ada yang jual kertas lipat yang seperti itu, adanya yang bujur sangkar saja* So, here is the picture. Gak terlalu jelas sih, tapi ya kanggo lah ya hehe... Tak terasa sudah 2/3 dari liburanku terlewati, tugas belum semuanya tuntas, tapi mata terasa penat karena harus membaca banyak jurnal dan buku tebal untuk mencari data... *sob* Jadi minggu depan, bakal full time doing homework deh! Tadi *jumat* aku bereksperimen di dapur. Bikin brownies... belum aku coba sih rasanya bagaimana kue yang baru keluar dari oven itu, tapi waktu mengaduk adonan, rasanya sudah pas. Aku bikin kue dalam rangka ultah si Lan tanggal 13 kemarin. Kebetulan dia sudah kembali dari Cambridge, jadi besok aku akan berkunjung ke tempatnya dengan membawa kue brownies dan hadiah ulang tahunnya . Semog...
